1965 Vintage Ampeg SB-12 Portaflex 22-Watt 1×12″ Fliptop Tube Bass Combo

Up for sale, here’s a super clean 1965 Ampeg SB-12. I doubt you will ever find another at this condition. As far as we know, everything except from the cart with wheels and the tunes, everything’s original.

Check the photos, everything looks pretty clean inside and outside. these amp has been amazingly well taken care of.

As a small brother of the B-15, it has the revolutionary at the time flip top design with a fully-enclosed cabinet and 1×12″ speaker instead and (still dual input) All tube single channel with 22-Watts of power. On the SB-12 the cabinet clasps are the contact points for the speaker connection, eliminating need for external speaker cable.

It’s a really amazing amp, that it can also be used for either bass or guitar, pretty similar sound wise to the B-15 in my opinion, and it’s little smaller and lighter which is a big plus.
